Shipping: Procedure & Policies for Retail Orders
Orders made before noon, (12:00 P.M., E.S.T.) on business days will be processed within 48 hours of receipt.
ElSalvadorShopping.com sends all the orders directly from El Salvador to guarantee the freshest products to our customers. Every order is picked up at the manufacturer facilities and shipped via airplane to the destination country. After clearing "Customs (and FDA) Controls" the packages are delivered by ground right to your door.
Once delivered, the orders would have traveled thousands of miles; our suppliers apply the best packaging techniques along with a careful coordination of transit processes to ensure the safest and quickest service possible.
Some orders may experience a random "Customs Checking" that could delay the delivery momentarily. Depending on the destination country, customīs policies may apply taxes or other fees. These situations are out of our control.
We are currently able to ship to the United States (including Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico), Canada and Mexico. If you are from somewhere else, please send us an email with your full name, shipping address and products you are interested in, so we can quote shipping charges.
Transit Times
ElSalvadorShopping.com offers different shipping choices depending on destination and preferred transit times. Once an order is shipped, the customer receives a tracking number to allow package follow up. Packages are shipped from Monday to Friday, purchases made during weekends will be sent the following Monday morning.

Shipping rates
The Shipping and Handling rates are based on international shipping fees and customs clearance, plus the changes on fuel prices. An orderīs shipping cost is determined by the productsī weight and destination country. Our system will calculate the shipping rates available for your order during the first steps of "check out", right after logging in or creating an account (for address verification purposes).
Restrictions
Our courier company requires a signature when a package is delivered; therefore itīs our policy NOT to send orders to PO Boxes.
Some countries have strict laws regarding the entry of a particular product. If for any reason thereīs a problem with an order we WILL contact the customer as soon as possible to correct the situation.
When an order needs to be sent as a gift, the box will still carry documentation that states the packageīs value, this is a requirement from customs authorities.
Claims and Returns Policy
At ElSalvadorShopping.com we take the responsibility of shipping all the orders that have been authorized and processed, it is our policy to guarantee the safe delivery of them. The company will also contact those clients whose orders couldn't be shipped, either for charging or processing problems.
As a quality commitment, ElSalvadorShopping.com will solve immediately any claim caused as a consequence of a company mistake, and that affects the satisfactory delivery of an order. This involves any of the following situations:
- Damaged products, quantity errors on ordered products, wrong products (ex. Wrong taste or size), lacking of any ordered product: All this products will be reshipped to complete the order.
- Orders damaged during transit: These orders are sent again to our customers as soon as the carrier company confirms the error, as long as itīs proved that the damage was caused by packing problems.
- Lost or delayed orders: Lost orders are reshipped. If the order was shipped under the PREMIUM shipping method and it is delayed, the company will resend the items as PREMIUM.
Customers must report any of these situations to the carrierīs employee
before signing for the "satisfactory delivery" on the tracking guide, and then contact ElSalvadorShopping.com's customer service. Therefore, it is the responsibility of our customers to perform an order check before signing for the delivery. Only in this way our company will be able to process and solve a claim. Once a customer signs for a satisfactory delivery we will take no claims.
Any additional taxes charged by customs at the destiny country is responsibility of the customer, we have no control on this issue.
Money returns due to a customerīs cancelation of an order are subject to a non-refundable 10% from the final charge, for restocking fees and bank charges.
